About the Author - Patricia Lowe

Patricia Lowe’s love for storytelling began under the bright Florida stars, lying on an old grey rug nestled into the white sugar sand, her father playing the harmonica, hot dogs and roasting marshmallows over a roaring fire, while entertaining her family with wild tales from her imagination. Her make-believe became a reality when she ran away with the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus to become an aerialist. Her world now was Elephants, Tigers, clowns, and sparkles. She found an audience filled with “children of
all ages”. In the 1960’s, Patricia worked for the pre-school educational program, Head Start, introducing her to a world that would become her passion; children with curiosity. She was the director of a pre-nursery school and worked with special needs children for much of her career. As many stories as Patricia has written and shared, this is her first book written as a birthday gift for a friend’s daughter. Patricia resides in Connecticut.
